Dramatization workshop and presentation
A dramatization workshop was conducted in the seminar hall as per B.Ed curriculum 2021-2023. It was guided by Mr. Satheesh sir. He described drama very simply and make us do many activities together and individually. He said that drama is a combination of mind, voice and body. He held many activities to improve our voice modulation. He frequently changed our seating arrangements inorder to teach us a should always be updated and changing. The class was very informative and interactive. Also he gave some tips to make the script of drama effective. The next day there was a dramatization presentation. we get an opportunity to prepare a script and perform on the stage based on a certain topic from the secondary school tectbook. We a group of six performed a drama on the topic polygons based on the script.
Photography exhibition
Open photography exhibition was conducted by the department of social science in memory of Danish Siddiqui. The photos captured by him were the center of attraction of the exhibition. Also the pictures captured by our dear friends were also on display. The pictures were very mind blowing and we all observed them with pleasure.
English association
Inauguration of the English department association was conducted at the seminar hall by 2 pm. Rev. Fr. M Jacob lighted the lamp. Our principal Roy sir chaired the function. The teacher trainees of English department introduced the name of their association as Zephyr. Also they produced a journal in english as an initiative of the association. After the formal session , a variety of entertainment programmes and games were held.
Independence day celebration
75 th Independence day celebration was conducted by Dheeksha college union on 15 th August 2022.The programme started at sharp 9'o clock by flag hoisting ceremony. It was followed by short speeches and independence day wishes. Thereafter competitions like patriotic song, quiz programme were held. The union arranged sweets for all those gathered there. The programme ended by the distribution of cash prize for the winners.
