MATHEMATICS

 As a part of B Ed curriculum, we got a chance to visit the Ashraya charitable society on 11th April 2022. We were a group of 26 students; 14 from mathematics and 12 from Natural science department.  Ashraya is a refuge working as a social and democratic institution  with a secular outlook to provide food,shelter, medical aid and rehabilitation to those needy in the society including orphans all over the state. The major among various branches is  sanketham at kalayapuram, kottarakkara  where almost thousand residents are being taken care of by a dedicated team lead by kalayapuram Jose,founder and General secretary of Ashraya. We reached there by 10 am and Sri kalayapuram Jose, General secretary of Ashraya and Mr Varghese Mathew, General suprendent of Ashraya gave a warm welcome to all teacher trainees. After that the General superintendent gave some basic information about the working of the society.Then we arranged some cultural programmers to entertain the residents there..also we d

 Leadership and management courses are specialized programmes designed to help us learn new leadership techniques and refine old skills including assertive communication,motivation methods and coaching. As part of the B Ed curriculum, a workshop on leadership training was conducted on 8th March 2022. It was held by Mr  E K Jijan sir,Assistant professor, Mount Tabor training college, pathanapuram.He introduced himself and shown some pictures on the screen and entered to the topic leadership quality and skills of leadership.  In the last session he divided us into six groups and conducted some interesting activities. It increased our confidence level and and helped to interact with each other in an effective way. He showed a dance video and asked all of us to dothe same. We did it happily and more energetically..😊👌

Physical science department conducted the association inauguration on 8th March 2022. The name of the association is Fizika Quimika. Our principal Roy sir inaugurated the function and Sivapriya miss gave agood speech. Physical science department HOD Vineeth sir also said about varieties of activities that the physical science department plan to do in future.

 World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on  7 April. The theme for this year's world Health Day is "our planet,our health". Natural science department of our college conducted elocution competition on April 7th. Five students from five departments participating the competition. Akshay John from social science department got first prize in the competition..🙂
