Microteaching session

 A three day programme on micro teaching was conducted as part of the B.Ed curriculum. On the first day micro teaching demonstration class was conducted by the M.Ed students. Skill of introduction,skill of reinforcement, skill of probing questions, skill of using blackboard,skill of questioning etc were the skill practiced by them.They also pointed out the components related to each skill. At last they clarified our doubts.

                 Micro teaching session 1 was conducted as part of the B.Ed curriculum. Every student had taken the class for the proficiency of one teaching skill for 5-7 minutes each. It was followed by a criticism of 3 observers .It was supervised by our optional teacher Dr. Leena Vahid. I had taken the skill of explaining on the topic sum of angles of a polygon on the first session.
                 The second session of micro teaching was held on the next day. As before each student practices a certain skill. I had taken the skill of reinforcement on the topic circle measures. Throgh this session we got an opportunity to improve our proficiency in teaching.

 COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP - ഏകം  As a part of Kerala University B.Ed curriculum, community living camp was organised in our college Baselios marthoma Mathews II training college, kottarakara. After all the discussions committees are selected for the conduction of the camp. I got opportunity to work in the finance committee. The camp was named as "ഏകം" The title was arraised from the idea of inclusion.  Vineeth sir was selected as the camp convenor and Sheeja teacher was the camp organiser.  Formal session begin by 10.30Am. After the flag hosting, Vineeth sir gave a warm welcome to the guests .our respected principal Sri.Roy sir was presided over the function and delivered the presidential speech. The program was inaugurated by Sri.S.R.Ramesh , Kottarakara municipality chairman. Our local manager Rev.Fr.M.Jacob delivered the keynote address.  As a part of EDU 13.9 optional paper's subject based activity an e-content was developed on the topic "Area of circle". The topic was selected from SCERT mathematics textbook class IX part 2.
