  INTERNATIONAL ANTI- DRUG DAY CELEBRATION@ M.T.H.S For Girls Kottarakkara      International anti drug day were celebrated at M.T.G.H.S. Kottarakkara. The program was inaugurated by Kollam rural DySP Sri. M.M. Jose sir. An oath was taken as apart of this day and ,any programs were presented as part of JRC society activities in the school.

  The last week of teaching practice was nice.  last week reading day celebrations and yoga day celebrations was conducted in the school.  Today weekend reflection-3 was conducted in the College.   June 21was celebrated as international yoga day. Special assembly was conducted in Marthoma high school for girls kottarakara in connection with yoga day. The assembly was lead by class 10-C  Students. Headmaster Jacob Abhraham presided over the assembly. Physical education teacher Sri.Akhil delivered a speech about the importance of yoga in our life.  After that a group of students performed some yoga . The assembly was dispersed by 10.15Am.

  June 19 was celebrated as National reading day. Today special assembly was conducted in M.T.H.S for girls kottarakara. The assembly was conducted by class 10-B students. Dr Suman Alexander,retired principal St.Gregorios college kottarakara was the chief guest of reading day program. She inaugurated and delivered a wonderful speech about the importance of reading. Honourable headmaster Sri Jacob Abraham inaugurated the Vidhyarangam kalasahithya vedhinand released the Vayana pathippu. School choir sung a beautiful song about the importance of reading. VAAYANA MOOLA competition was conducted in the school.The competition was conducted as upper primary and high school sessions. All students make a wonderful reading corner in their classes.

  As a part of BEd Curriculum, Our optional reflection on Second phase of teaching practice. had held in mathematics class in 17/06/2023, saturday, under the Supervision of Dr. Leena vahid. The session started at 10am. All of us shared our experiences during this week in School. First of all, Sruthy from MTHSS valakom, shared the experiences during this week in School. She pointed out that I didnot get enough period to teach the students, because of the selection of NCC students were engaged with its Selection. Next Roji from same school, shared that She Could not manage the students well due to the hyper active character of students. Next Amal kumar from Same School Shared that his students are Provoking and irritating throughout  the class. Leya from School St. Mary'S kizhakkekara, came forward and shared her experience in school. She got a students  of maintaining discipline and good character; So she could manage the class Very well.   For reflecting our experience on teaching practice a weekend reflection was held on 10/06/2023 Saturday at our college BMMIITC Kottarakara.Our principal Sri.Riju Sir chaired the general reflection.All optional teachers also assembled with us for hearing the experiences.Leaders from 22 schools reflected their experiences as a representative of each school.Everyone pointed out the teacher absentism,shortage of teachers,and getting more substitution periods and difficulty in managing classrooms.The general reflection ends at 11 am After general reflection there is an optional reflection held at respective optional classes.Our optional teacher Leena teacher chaired the optional reflection.18 students from our class reflected their experiences.
