MATHEMATICS

  As a part of Kerala University B.ed curriculum our teaching practice phase 2 ended today. I completed my  journey of 36 teaching days at Marthoma highschool for girls kottarakara. It was a nice experience.In  the first intervalschool organise a  sendoff to us. Respected Headmaster Sri.Jacob Abhraham said about our activities at school and also specially mentioned our helps during republic day celebrations and conducting Nallapadam stall etc. Nallapadam coordinator Christy teacher also praised our efforts we took for the success of nallapadam stall. Senior teachers and staff secretary Sri. Roy sir also says about our hardwork and coordination. . I gave sweets to my students . I also gave gifts to the mentor teachers. We 14,coordinated and brought a book and hand over it the HM for the school library.  It was a wonderful experience in my life and career. i am very much happy and from this teaching practice days i had improved a lot and learned many things from this journey.I feel so ha

  ACHIEVEMENT TEST:  Achievement test was conducted on VIII- F class of M.T.H.S for Girls kottarakara. The questions are prepared based on the two chapters Equal Triangles and Equations..I conducted the test in the presence of my mentor teacher . 

ഭാഷാ വാങ്മയം 2023                              ഭാഷാ വാങ്മയം program was held in M.T.H.S for Girls kottarakara. This program was conducted to find the students who have interest in Malayalam language. The aptitude test was conducted and a student from both high school and upper primary was selected to participate in sub district competition.

KALOLSAVAM:  Today school Arts festival was held  in the school auditorium. The PTA president sri M. Unnikrishnapillai presided over the function. Introductory speech was done by headmaster sri.Jacob Abhraham. The keynote address was by Rev. Alex.p.John LAC vice chairman and welcome speech by Ivy Teacher, program convenor. The programs was held in the two stages students fantastically performed their talents in Various Arts.. The chief guest of the program is Smt.Rekha subin, Famous cini Artist. Judges who are famous in art forms judged traditional art forms. The success of the program shows the hardwork and dedication of both teachers and students. The noted, part of the day was the NALLAPADAM STALL  organised by us. We 14 coordinated and worked for the success of it. It was a great achievement for us that we can make a huge sale of about 20,000Rs . Headmaster and Nallapadam coordinator Christy teacher appreciated us for our hardwork.  

  WEEKEND REFLECTION 7 WEEKEND REFLECTION 7   In order to reflect the major happenings of the week, a weekend reflection has been arranged at Online level for optional level. Meeting was scheduled at 7:30pm via google meet .18 of us joined in the meeting .Our optional teacher Dr. Leena Vahid also joined in the meeting. First, Amalkumar shared about school activities, portion coverage, observation etc Amalendhu MS. shared about general observation, classroom activities, unit test etc Next, Ancy shaji shared about portion coverage, assembly. Aneesha Achankunju shared about portion coverage, classroom activities, assembly, Anju J. shared about the same.  Anju V Roymon  about  school Special assembly shared about portion coverage  school activity etc.  Next, Aswathy C shared about school activities, portion coverage etc. Then myself reflected about school programs, portion coverage, midterm examination, class observation etc. Next Bency shared about portion Coverage, assembly School shared

  INTERNATIONAL MOON DAY CELEBRATION International moon day celebrations was conducted on Marthoma High School for Girls, Kottarakara. July 20 was celebrated as International moon day. Documentary presentation related to the moon day was held in the school on 21st July 2023. Physical science B.Ed trainees took initiative for that presentation.

 Today a special assembly was conducted in the school for paying regards and condolences to the former Chief Minister Sri. Oommen Chandi.

  As  a part of BEd Curriculum, our optional reflection on second phase of teaching practice held on online in 16/03/2013 Sunday at 5.30pm. The session was led by Dr Leena Vahid. All of us, shared our experiences during this week in school. Firstly Amal kumar from MTHS, Valakom ,shared that there was an optional observation during the week teacher made  some suggestions for assessment and closure. Then Amalendhu from SNSMHSS , Ellampallor shared that there was a checking of haemoglobin for girls.she also pointed out the suggestions made by the teacher about the observation class by optional teacher. Next Bency from the same school shared that there was a live telecast of chandryan 3 launching for students.  Next Aswathy.P.Das from Marthoma girls HS Kottarakkara , shared about the light music competition. she also shared about the mid term examination from 20th to 26th.  വിജയോത്സവം 2023 @M.T.G.H.S. KOTTARAKKARA   Today special function for appreciating the last year SSLC full Aplus winners was held in the school Auditorium. The program Vijayolsavam 2023 was inagurated by Sri. kodikkunal suresh M.P. Headmaster sri. Jacob Abhraham gave welcome to everyone and school governing body member Rev. F. k.y.Jacob presided over the function. The keynote address was done by Sri.SR.Ramesh Kottarakara Municipal chairman and Many persons of Marthoma Corporate management governing body Joined in the function. Merit awards and certificates are distributed to 135 full winners and 25 Nine A Plus winners. School Former student and last year civil service rank holder Smt. Nihala, K. Shereef was honoured in this function. We Joined hands with teachers and did all activities for the smooth Conduction of program.
