 Today a special assembly was conducted in the school for paying regards and condolences to the former Chief Minister Sri. Oommen Chandi.

  As a part of BEd Curriculum, Our optional reflection on Second phase of teaching practice. had held in mathematics class in 17/06/2023, saturday, under the Supervision of Dr. Leena vahid. The session started at 10am. All of us shared our experiences during this week in School. First of all, Sruthy from MTHSS valakom, shared the experiences during this week in School. She pointed out that I didnot get enough period to teach the students, because of the selection of NCC students were engaged with its Selection. Next Roji from same school, shared that She Could not manage the students well due to the hyper active character of students. Next Amal kumar from Same School Shared that his students are Provoking and irritating throughout  the class. Leya from School St. Mary'S kizhakkekara, came forward and shared her experience in school. She got a students  of maintaining discipline and good character; So she could manage the class Very well. Microteaching session

 A three day programme on micro teaching was conducted as part of the B.Ed curriculum. On the first day micro teaching demonstration class was conducted by the M.Ed students. Skill of introduction,skill of reinforcement, skill of probing questions, skill of using blackboard,skill of questioning etc were the skill practiced by them.They also pointed out the components related to each skill. At last they clarified our doubts.                  Micro teaching session 1 was conducted as part of the B.Ed curriculum. Every student had taken the class for the proficiency of one teaching skill for 5-7 minutes each. It was followed by a criticism of 3 observers .It was supervised by our optional teacher Dr. Leena Vahid.   As a part of our BEd curriculum,a reflection session was conducted on every Saturday to reflect trainees experiences on schools.Today it was held as optionalwise.Each of us reflected our experiences about classroom management,observations,school activities ,portions completed,diagnostic test conducted etc.Our teacher gave necessary suggestions for us.
