Weekend Reflection - 4
WEEKEND REFLECTION 4
During the fourth week of our teaching practice, the weekend reflection took on a slightly different format due to schools being operational on the previous Saturday. This time, the reflection was conducted option-wise through Google Meet, offering us the flexibility to participate according to our convenience. Under the guidance of Leena teacher, the overview of the optional reflection was presented, and at precisely 6 pm, the session commenced.
Representatives from each practicing school took turns sharing their reflections on the experiences of the previous week. The session started with Amal, Roji, and Sruthi from Marthoma HS Valakom, who eloquently shared their insights. Their reflections encapsulated the challenges they faced and the invaluable lessons they drew from these experiences.
This was followed by contributions from other schools. Amalendu and Bency from SNSM Elampalloor, Ancy and Anju V Roymon from St. Gregorios HS, Aswathy C, Aneesha, and Anju from Govt HS Vettikavala, Neena and Aswathy P Das from Marthoma High School for Girls Kottarakkara, Jishnu and Renjitha from S.K.V.V.H.S.S Thrikkannamangal, Leya and Sneha from St. Mary's HS Kizhakkekkara, and Chris and Jacob from GHSS KTR shared our personal reflections, painting a comprehensive picture of our collective experiences.
The mosaic of reflections portrayed a vivid narrative of our transformative journey. Each of us illuminated both triumphs and challenges, offering a holistic view of the multifaceted aspects of teaching that have deeply touched us.
The prevailing theme among the reflections was the involvement of schools in various programs and activities throughout the previous week. Many of us also mentioned conducting diagnostic tests. However, a common thread emerged – the challenge of limited class availability, which hindered the completion of our targeted lesson plans.
Towards the conclusion, Leena miss, our guide, offered valuable instructions and suggestions. Her insights further enriched our reflections and equipped us with practical strategies to navigate the upcoming weeks of our teaching practice.
As we proceed, armed with the collective wisdom shared during this reflection, we're fortified in our dedication to surmount challenges and enrich the lives of our students through meaningful education. This reflection was yet another testament to our collective commitment to becoming exceptional educators
